Found by David Hancock in cooperation with WiTS volunteers as a site to replace our first Hornby Island site that we knew was going to fail. We received incredible encouragement from the owner of Epicure Selections on whose property the nest resided.
In these quick clips, Mom "snaps" at the LBJs (little brown jobs) that are flitting around the edge of the nest and, in the second half, she nods off for a few seconds :-)

Dad is on the nest incubating the egg and Mom arrives with nesting material. Dad calls and leaves. Notice how Mom has her talons curled as she gently settles over the egg.
