Embedded Cam Would Go Here
Our thanks to Gretchen Butler (Volunteer for Audubon "EagleWatch" Program and the American Eagle Foundation "Eagle Nest Cam" Program), who has been watching this nest for the past five years and was instrumental in getting the cams installed so we could all see what she has seen, and to the American Eagle Foundation for sponsoring the cams and making this wonderful nest available for us to watch - and, of course, our thanks to the eagles!
For a little more information about this cam, and to share your observations, screenshots and videos, please join us in our discussion forum for the Northeast Florida eagles. Membership and login are required to share your observations and screenshots.
For additional information, a second camera providing a wider view of the nests so you can watch the eagles fly in and out, and (starting October 1st) a moderated Chat thread, please visit the American Eagle Foundation's Northeast Florida Eagle Nest Cam page.
VERY IMPORTANT: THE AMERICAN EAGLE FOUNDATION WAS GIVEN THE SPECIAL PRIVILEDGE OF PLACING THEIR CAMERAS AND EQUIPMENT ON PRIVATE AND PROTECTED PROPERTY. THE AEF IS UNDER STRICT AGREEMENT WITH THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO NEVER DISCLOSE THE LOCATION OF THE NEST, AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, TO PROTECT THE RESIDENT EAGLES AND THEIR NEST TREE.
