Last night, around 10:30 or so, there seemed to be sounds of a chick breaking the eggshell. I've heard these sounds at IBRRC, when we were hatching cormorant eggs. We'd see the first pip in the special egg incubator and hear the sounds. But only for a few seconds, because we had to close the door to keep all of the eggs warm.


Please help preserve wildlife and wildlife territories

Mom has been enjoying a hearty meal; vocals heard. Owlet nearly got stepped on and had to be scootched to the back.
