Maybe since Starr hadn't posted on the forum that it's only when she was on the On-line list on the bottom of the forum where we see the long names abbreviated.
That's good to know.

Well, my long name made the box on the right side where our avatars are a bit wide - and my name wasn't truncated like Starr's was:


I don't remember if we took a s'cap, but when Starr is on the website, I think her name was in the list as Eagle Lovers fro - and just stopped at 16 letters. That was why the numbers in my name - I wanted to be sure how many letters before it was cut off. But it didn't happen like that, and I'm not about to make a Media Gallery album with my fake person just to try!

Things are looking great ladies!!!! I notice that the edit and delete function for other people's posts has disappeared. That's good!!!! Perhaps the danger of deleting a thread has been eliminated? I can still edit my post after a few days, but the delete button is gone there too. (Only commenting - didn't want to do it!!)

In future, will the "members List" be at the top as it was in the old forum? It is sometimes handy for PM's if you don't see an obvious post by someone.
