Thanks Judy, I was running late this morning, but the first thing I did was check on the owlets, and learned of his demise. I was going to post now if no one else did. I wonder if his hunger was the reason he fell twice...or more? Poor little guy. Will cross fingers and pray for the other 2. I have seen them eat 2 times so far this evening. There sure have been a lot of food deliveries, so it's hard to think that one of them would starve. Maybe because the one was able to get to the tray and start taking most of the food then for himself. Thank you, Judy.

How sad the youngest die of starvation. I wonder if the older 2 grabbed all the food deliveries?

Finally! I found an owl home at BOT. I don't know if anyone else will be
watching this nest this year, but I will pop in from time to time.

Bluee!!! how exciting!! I have been looking daily because they are late compared to last year. I have been watching the feather shrivel up and watching for it to move. ha ha Thank you for the update. Will watch more intently now. Let the season begin, and lets hope for a good, safe and healthy one filled with lots of prey.
