Oh No Pat. The little one is missing Cry
I wonder if she was knocked off the nest ? The chicks were always crowding around the edge of the nest. Maybe the adult accidently knocked her off. How Sad Cry Hanky

I still can't get the cam to come up. I have no idea why it won't Bash computer I haven't had much luck with this camera.

I'll call them sometime this morning.

Adult just arrived at the nest - I was thinking it would be a food delivery, but he or she seems to be looking around.

The adult is now standing in the nest looking towards 5 o'clock, and the two chicks are over looking out at the 11 o'clock position.

Hi All
I phoned the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area Administration.
They have no idea how the chick disappeared off the nest. The receptionist is checking with Carla (who is in charge) to see if they are going to the nest to see if the chick is on the ground. She has my phone number and said she would call me back if they find out anything at all.

The nest is right on the CVWMA property.

I also let her know that I am Bev's designated pick up person for Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation and could get an injured chick to Delta by flight from Cranbrook if necessary.

I don't have a good feeling that a chick would survive the fall at this age. Cry

Now I have to go back to work.

Mom is squawking up a storm watching something off camera. Dad arrived with a fish. She must have saw it coming.
Mom then wrestles him to gain control of the fish. Dad then flew off.
More food for the O's.

Finally the second O comes around Mom to a safer spot on the nest.
He's now getting a turn at being fed.
