Soph, nice pics of the Sturgeon Lake nest, I can't get that cam, so love seeing picsClapping

Judy, thanks for posting the Lake Barkley fledgelove

The fledgling returned to the nest late yesterday morning, I had to work all day and missed it, but Ed emailed me when she was back in the nest, so I didn't worry all day.

George, emailed me a heads up on this great video of the return he posted on the cam site. I got home last night to late and tired to post.

It's obvious the adult is aware the fledgling is returning. I can't believe how the adult, appears to, block an over shot of the nestWub It's a cool video.

Lake Barkley had a 2nd fledge, between 12:45 and 1:10 EDT today. I don't know if it was C1 or C3. I can't see a leg band, but the cam isn't very clear and no way to compare size.

I did email Ed and GeorgeGrin

That figures, Jazzel - about the time I switched over to the Lake Washington eaglets (also likely fledged but harder to tell because of the branching potential there). Titter

The Maine osprey are doing well (though their cam hasn't quite recovered from the rain a couple of days ago - and never looks as good as Lake Barkley! Titter).

The older one was 7 weeks old on Wednesday, and the younger one will be 7 weeks old tomorrow.

I think I didn't remember to provide a link to our site visit last weekend - it was a rainy day so we didn't get much in the way of pictures - but did get one big surprise! Link to my website for details.
