Hi Larry,

I see my timing is still off!! Vickrb and I were at the Hastings nest on Sunday morning and we scanned the tree with binoculars and didn't see a thing. We were at Hastings about 10:30 am. I finally took two pictures of an empty nest at 10:55 am and moved on to Lafarge! We must have just missed you at Lafarge! We were at Hastings while you were at Lafarge and and at Lafarge while you were at Hastings!!

Gemini OMG we must have passed as we traded nest .I'am surprized that you didn' see the Eaglet As I drove down hast. to turn on renfrew to go to lafarge I could see her out of the nest higher up then the day before.Thats why i didn't stay to long at Lafarge wanted to get back, and she was still sitting there. I should have backed up so I could have gotten where she was from the nest. But still in the nesting tree. They don't have a lot of choice for perching trees

went to the nest again and at first could not see our newest eaglet of that area....he was branching and out of the nest....got to see some little branch to branch test flights...wings look good but need to fill out more at the tips.....no adults around once again this morning and I forgot my camera...preoccupied about going away on my 1 month motorcycle cross country tour..we leave tomorrow!

Anyway...this big guy or gal looks great....and it won't be long before he takes off!
