Great pictures, soph! I was watching for a while yesterday, and did notice them doing a bit of nestoration - and having an occasional tug-of-war with a stick!

I also noticed that one of them is getting very good at hop-flying up to his branch:

And also saw the other one disappear off to the left, where I think his branch of choice is (coming back to see what the other one is up to)

The younger one is 10 weeks old today. Grin

in the nest panting to cool itself at or near 3.

No sign of Mom or Dad.

Hi Debs! I also have a bunch of pics from today (and a few from the last couple of days) - really fun to see them flapping around the nest and out to the branches! Grin This cam is a bit annoying when the chicks are tiny and hiding behind the tree trunk - but it's quite wonderful now that they are getting out on those branches behind the nest. Smile

Nest was quite beautiful with the sunrise this morning - and when one of the adults arrived with food, one eaglet came in from the usual branch near the nest - and I think the other hop-flapped from a branch way up in the upper left corner over to one of the branches in the center back, and then down to the nestbowl. Hard to tell who got what in the shadows, but both seem to be doing well. love

Just realized my s'caps are on the other computer - will try to add them tonight. Sorry. Sad
