OK ,Hope I haven't bored anyone with these late Pic's... Just a few more from Fri.
and to end it short We stoped in on Sun. after packing camp and heading to Vic. for the night .Just as we arrived pulling up to the last house on the right Nest on the left ...We could see the one eaglet in the nesting tree branching hard.Propable the one sitting in the branch while he/she was flying there wings off for Mom And before I could get out of the car He/She was off to .Tryed toget past the shrub but fenced and I (don't) But I think we can say that Brentwood Eaglets are off and flying Wish we had more time to stay but there was still saxe point and we where staying in Vic that nightWhistlingWas an amazing time with F.F. and all ,Loved your Eagles

waveLarry, great pics of the Brentwood eaglets. I was planning to get out there Friday and I'm planning to go to Saxe Pt. Park tonight.

I visited the Brentwood Bay nest yesterday morning on my way to Pat Bay; I walked up and down the road twice and didn't see any eagles, other than a sub-adult soaring overhead. Here is a pic of the empty nestSad and 2 pics of the sub-adult. Click 2X bigger.

I stopped at the nest again in the afternoon on my way home from Pat Bay and the 1st time I walked up the road I spotted one of the eaglets perched in a tree about 100 meters up the road from the nest tree. I walked back to the car to get my other camera and the 2nd time I spotted Mom way up high perched underneath a bunch of leaves trying to stay cool. I saw some movement just below Mom in the same tree and spotted the other eagletLeft thumb up I'll post more pics later.

Here are some pics of Mom and the nest site, taken during my 2nd visit to the nest last Friday. The pics of Mom were taken with my Canon PowerShot at 2.3X digital zoom. In the pic of the nest area, Mom and the 2nd eaglet were perched near the top of a tree to the right. Click 2X bigger.

Here are some pics of the eaglet that was perched in a tree a short distance down the road. I didn't get a pic of the 2nd eaglet as it was hiding behind a tree branch above where Mom was perched and all I saw was a small mound of dark feathers blowing in the wind.
