Marg, I thought for sure that 3rd pic of yours was positioning for a poop shot! Doesn't that stick bending up in front of eaglet to the right annoy in getting good shots? Sorry you didn't get the energy that is coming with eaglet's increasing activity. Hopefully between the 2 of us we will capture some of it. David wants me to set up on the road with his tripod. I just can't go there feeling like I am intruding in this community neighbourhood.

We have seen our eaglet flappercizing and jumping in the nest many times from home, it's exciting to see that. The 3rd picture no, in fact it was eating something in the nest.

Our eaglet now has a name, Mr. sunshinecoast and I have been toying around with names and decided to name the Stalashen eaglet "SUNNY".

Sandra, if we have two eaglets next year you can name one if you'd like to but if there's only one eaglet you will have the pleasure.

Marg and Sandra ~~ The pictures are awesome ! This is one beautiful eaglet Appropriate name SUNNY ~ We called the one at the WVa nest SPRING !

Love seeing all these pictures and i am so happy for those of you you get the chance to see visit the nests and see those beautiful creatures up close

6:05a.m. I saw SUNNY wingercizing and hopping around, definitely branching now - was up on a small branch just above the nest to the right (has been branching for a few days). Sunny looks so big! Hope to go down and take a few pics today.
