Wood Duck family

This duckling got separated from the group and was trying to rejoin. It would hide behind a log and then dash to some lily pads. Hide there for a moment and then dash to the next cover. These ducklings may not fly yet, but they are extremely fast on the water. This guy is putting up a roostertail.

While I was lurking {hoping to get a better view of the very wary Wood Ducks} at one of the few places where you can get to the waters edge, I noticed these fish, also lurking. Trout, I guess?

And lastly, there were some of these little birds flitting about. Hard to see, harder to photograph.
