Many of you already know about David Hancock's impressive career as a Biologist (60 years) and as a Leader and founding member of bald eagle web cams (2006) but did you know that David was a Wildlife Rehabilitator too? David has rescued and saved many bald eagles both in and out off the nest; never shying away from obtaining the necessary permissions to rescue a chick in the nest...David Hancock is the real deal; a true advocate and friend to these birds. Thank you David Hancock and HWF for all that you have done and continue to do to keep us connected to these wonderful bald eagle families...you are the best Clapping

David's vision and forward thinking also brought about this forum providing helpful resources on a wide range of topics and a "gathering place" for friends ... we are forever grateful...so please donate if you can and together "branch by branch" we will protect all the wonderful things that this forum provides hug

On behalf of David Hancock and the entire family at HWF thank you so much for your generous donation and continued support its greatly appreciated Thank You

bringing forward Smile

I'm looking forward to seeing some of our local HWF members and well as some traveling from afar for FledgeFest 2014 next Sunday, July 13th, at David Hancock's. If anyone else is wanting to come and has not yet contacted me please do so ASAP and I will put you on the roster and have your name badge printed. karen@hancockwildlife.org This is very important so we know how many are coming and what finger food, appys and/or drink they might be bringing and how many lawn chairs we need, etc.

This is our HWF annual event (the first one was in 2007 in Sidney) to celebrate the fledging of our eaglets. What? You say you don't know anything about it? David's invitation is on our Home Page here: www.hancockwildlife.org

Hope to see you next Sunday!! I might add that the land dwellers on the Delta 2 property will be there again this year so you can meet Tarnia and Will in person and talk about Ma, Pa, Ariel and Hunter with them.

Pa brings a salmon, calling from the nest and leaves it there, flies up to the branch.
