EJ & Odin's first chick hatch @ 23:41 Friday 21st May. I've been watching EJ and she's keeping weeyin out of sight
she's keeping her body close to nest bowl

Odin brings fish at 2:44 EJ did'nt budge from nest bowl, so Odin ate fish and stayed awhile and then flew away at 3:11.pm



I didn't catch a glimpse of new chick, EJ very protective and I thought she might have fed the wee one, but no feeding

EJ osplet finally peeks out front of Mama



Odin dropped in earlier, stayed a few mins, then flew off

EJ digs bowl area and I think theres' 2 chicks, looks like I can see two osplets - stripes on backs :question:

EJ and Odins 2nd osplet hatched @ 7.am this morning. I checked the rspb site and finally updated the good news


Odin delivers large trout @ 2:48pm. EJ rips pieces off and eats - she's hungry so wee one's wait - tho Odin's blocking view of them as he stands' directly at front of nest, watching o's and EJ eat his lovely fresh fish. Odin flew off, I can see them now

oldest is eating and the newborn is

6:19pm. EJ drags same fish closer to osplets eats a few big chunks herself and begins feeding little ones'

6:28.pm both chicks got fair size of fish bites and she then prepares to tucked them underneath - looks like fish is there too, settles in brooding now.

ej took quick break @ 5.03.am. Odin brings fish @ 5:08am and ej eats alittle then feeds osplets

I was just looking through the nests I can get on WMP - and I caught this changeover!
One osprey flew off to the right - and I could see the chicks quite clearly - before the other adult came in from the back and settled on the chicks again!!
