Warm, sunny day today.....

Parent brought in food at 6:09. One eaglet would eat and the other would wait or roam around the nest. Both were fed. Here is a wingflap to the fence by one after Ma left.

The eaglets have been up and down this morning. They are doing a lot of moving about the nest and looking out of the nest.

9:41 to 10:00 a second feeding. Full tummies today.

Low 40's this morning and low 70's through the day. It was a foggy morning around the nest but with the bright sunshine it has burned off.

The eaglets have been up and roamed the nest for nestovers. At 7:30 they were resting in the center of the nest.

Great pictures - thanks, Donna! I love the one of the eaglet standing regally at the front of the nest, looking out over his/her world! Grin

JUDY I too love some of these close ups. They have just grown up....except they still want to be fed.....I saw some pics by someone who went to the nest area. I have wondered about branching for these two and as I suspected there are great branches off of 3 and 9 and I'll bet the parents are often there. I saw this on the chat site at raptor resource on pg 53.

Today from 10:00 to 10:16 one eaglet was wingflapping all over the nest. Big hops to one side or the other of the nest. The other just watched. I suspect that it is KC that is so active, but hard to tell. So intently moving from 12 to 6 and then to 3 and back to 12 and back to 5. There was airtime every time. Soon they will be branching and it will take some watching to be sure they are in and out of the nest.
