PLover those were the good old days - enjoyed the folks there and what a fine time we had, with our Kay, Jay & Thunder
A great bunch of raptors' and I looked forward to everyones pic's. observations and their humor always put a smile on my face every morning. Nice knowing Camfan is one of these friendly faces and the other folks too

I'm not sure when it happened but a rabbit appeared on the nest (suspect a haggard delivered it while my back was turned, lol!!!)

One of the eyasses tried to take it on!!!


And another pulled a leg (shame, shame little ones, playing with your food!)


Ultimately they just went to sleep on it :blink:

The Formel came to the nest with greenery and stayed to feed the eyasses the rabbit. Edited out the more graphic parts, but bunny is not as bad as those pigeons!!!

The Tiercel brought a pigeon, and the eyasses ate part of it:


...but now they are sleeping on top of the nestovers, not the first time I've seen that!

Tiercel arrives with what appears to be 1/2 rabbit


Formel soon arrives and tiercel takes off. She first feeds them from the leftover pigeon, but then switches to the rabbit.


Formel just left and the eyasses are left with lots of nestovers

Tiercel arrived first, followed shortly by the Formel (on the left), and then the Tiercel departed!!

Formel fed the eyasses, although I'm not sure the one on the far left ate this time. When she left, there were still nestovers remaining.



Here is a scap taken on May 14th last year of the 2009 eyasses - close to the same age as these 3 we're watching now! Look at how much more the nest has been built up since last year!
