The snow was finally melted a little after 1. There have been two food deliveries this afternoon and then a longer feeding at 4.

This stopped my breathing for a bit when I saw it.....

but, of course they will be doing this more and more......


It is now 4:30 and the eaglets are resting.

Glorious sunshine at the nest this morning. Temps to climb into the mid 50's today.

Parent in early to either investigate nestovers or had some food.

This afternoon:

It has been partly sunny. The eaglets have been up and moving about the nest. One is liking the fence for perching. A parent has visited the nest several times with food. I have had to switch to the other view several times to find an eaglet at 3.

Low 40's overnight and into the mid 50's with sunshine today.
Eaglets have been up and pecking at the nestovers. Parent may have brought in a little food around 6 a.m.
At 7:25 they are resting at center nest which seems to be their favorite napping spot.

The parents were on and off the nest this afternoon. The eaglets roamed the nest and rested. At 4:30 ish it began to rain and it is rather miserable weather. The eaglets have been up checking for nestovers.

The eaglets have been alert since sunrise at about 5:30. They have been up checking nestovers and looking out over the valley.

It is 4:53 and the parents have not visited the nest and the eaglets have not eaten today. They still have sizable crops so it is not a concern, but usually the parents are on and off the nest several times during the day.
