An eagle was sitting on a rock off Holland Point this morning about 11 AM. At one time it was having a staring contest with a heron, but the heron flew to another rock. I think it might have been the 4yr old female eagle. I took some photos and will try to attach them later.

Was that you I spoke to, Tanner, heading down the stairs with a camera? I was on the path before it occurred to me that it might be you, after another great shot.

Possibly -- I seem to recall something. Refresh my memory - it has never been very sharp. :blink:

My husband and I were climbing the stairs from the lower path at Holland Point. (He was wearing an orange jacket and has a grey beard) I had a small camera around my neck on a red lanyard. We spoke to a man with a camera who was just starting down the stairs, and we told him about the eagle and the heron on the rocks. I guess if you have photos of that eagle and heron, you were there!

Sorry, that wasn't me. However I recently ran into a lady while photographing eagles who directed me to the Hancock Wildlife website. I don't remember the details of the conversation. I suppose that could very well of been somebody posting on the forum as well.

I was driving my visiting cousin from England along Dallas Rd on Sunday morning. An eagle was sitting majestically on the top of the totem pole at BHP. Perfect!
