oh yeah yeah, right! I think that's the male. I think he's the one with an old-style tag, close to his bum on his left side. You can only see it when his back is to you and the wind is fluffling his feathers.

It's an old-style tag but he's rather young, these mates at Jericho apparently are still young says a "professional" observer.

Good to have as many as possible people out there gathering data on these urban eagles! If you're ever there and see a rather dishevelled-looking person with a video cam on a tripod, that's me!!

All right, action is heating up at Jericho Park! I was there on the weekend, a foreign pair of eagles circled lazily overhead . .. much ruckus by the mates.

Then the male flew off to get a fish, unfortunately he only took like 6 bites so I didn't have time to get really, really close (he was sitting in a low branch). The female didn't start calling from the nest so I guess she already had lunch, good sign!

well we had some good light yesterday afternoon so I raced down to Jericho Park to check on our little friends. Got some reasonably good footage!

Am I crazy or does their calling set off a car alarm at 1:23? Massive coincidence?

Dropped by the Jericho nest and it only took a few minutes to get a good picture. Here's confirmation that there are two eaglets at Jericho.

Yes we have eagle baby bobbleheads at Jericho! You can see one just before Mama flies away at 1:52, then both at 1:59.
