Caught a feeding just after 5 PM today. Appeared
that both Big and Lil got some nice pieces of meat.

Adult was on the nest when I first checked in, but Tinker and Tailor are alone now. It was sort of cute - first refresh they were all curled up, next refresh they popped up in unison, and third refresh they were back to sleep.



It's a drizzly sort of day in Maine but I'm guessing it's not raining there now - they're not quite two weeks old, so I doubt that Mom would leave them uncovered if it was too damp.

Morning CM

Some scaps of our babies this morning;
Mom is probably perched near by as their
is no adult in the nest at the moment.
They seem to be getting more alone
time these past couple of days.

1136 am
Both appear to be alert and active in the bowl .

Quite a size difference between these two.

Great pictures showing how well they're hidden in the nest, Debs! They've been alone a little over an hour, and were alone for another fairly long spell earlier today. They're almost two weeks old, and the adults are experienced so I'm guessing they know what they're doing - but it's not especially warm here in Maine today.
