I took this picture yesterday in the evening the sun was shining! Both eagles are there one in the nest and one at the top in the middle of the tree. I haven't managed to take a picture when there has been a change of shift (difficult looking through a telescope).Titter

I stopped by the nest yesterday and today. Both days we could see the white head in the nest, no other adult visible. Today though the eagle was sitting noticeably higher. Not sure if that is an indication of chicks or not. We also spotted a juvie flying quite low near the mailboxes so very close to the nest tree.

Hi Sandra glad that you went by the nest. We see no evidence of chicks yet but can't wait for the day when we do!

Saw them both today, one in the nest the other in the tree.wave

Did see a fawn coming down the slope where the houses are behind the big rubble wall (West Sechelt) - didn't get a pic as camera was not near me.

We've seen this little bird in our tree for the last week or so. It's a house finch.

Sandra, stim, you wondered if there had been any hatches at this nest. I was watching the nest tonight and it looked like one of the eagles was feeding an eaglet in the nest?Don't KnowCouldn't see the eaglet but it sure looked like it was bending over feeding. Then when I watched the video it looked like the two eagles mated!Nodding

Two in the nest.
