The eagles have both been on the nest most of the day. They were unattended only for short periods. KC and Banner have been fed three times and the feeding lasted 8 to 10 min. The parents have brought in new sticks that are at 6 to 9. They will most likely rearrange these as they are sticking up pretty high. KC and Banner have been very quick to move to where Mom or Dad are.....It is pretty windy today.

Very nice report and pictures.

Just curious, did you see any indication of an intruder today? I ask because you say that both eagles were on the nest most of the day. Also, looking at your s'cap from 9:10 am, it seems that adults might be trilling an alarm and the kids are flatlets.

I was gone from 8:48 to 1 and I was interested that they both were in the nest most of the day. I saw those pics when I came home.....good observation, and something to watch. They were off the nest or on branches near by so much of the previous 2 days that I think you are most likely right on. I went back to look at the pics right before the incident.....the eaglets had been alone on the nest for about 5 min and then both eagles were there at 12.

I also notice that we have a stick center stage now also.....grrrrrrr......

I will be in and out tomorrow and Thursday.

Cal I appreciate that. I have to say I like it when I can see an adult on the nest with these little ones.....want so much for them to fledge this season......and they are so cute and getting so big, but we have quite a bit of time left before they are on their own.....

I have not seen a feeding this morning. the eaglets have been snoozing but will get up and watch a bit and then settle again all snuggled and cuddled together....they are in the sun for now.....
