happyI see Dad's stick is back to the middle of the nest. I do wish someone would tell him to remove it!!!!!

With much thanks to Harrymilt, and with his permission, I now have his magnificent picture of Dad as my new avatar! Thank You

Hi Bairbre wave
I wish he'd move it as well but I have a feeling it's anchored in there quite solid. He couldn't have found a more inconvenient place for it if he tried. No

wave Bairbre - super new avatar

I am making my peace with the vertical stick Laugh I'd rather see that stick than a long strand of menacing orange baling twine like last year. Faint

Earlier this morning, adult was busily packing loose grass all snug around his/her body; keep that egg warm!

C.Flat--
That was quite a pooh shot, wasn't it--luckily my screen capture system WAS NOT fast enough to document it--I got Pa just before:

11:39 am
This is Pa--notice no little white feather on his right leg--Ma has a white feather in that position and if you can see the right leg, you can distinguish between them with this feather

1:35 pm - Dad(?) just stood up and it looked as if he rolled the egg, though it's down a bit too deep for me to see at the moment (maybe if I was taller?). He then settled down, facing about 4:00.

2:40 to 2:46 nest time

Mom is on the egg, looking very hot. Dad is very close by. They have been calling back and forth to each other, continuously for the past six minutes.
