Great pictures Cal; thanks! Smile I think Mom's on the nest right now. It won't be long before eggs start arriving! Grin

I heard from Gerard and he'll start posting, etc. regularly in May when he gets hooked up to the internet.

My computer or something is giving me a hard time today. Half of what I post doesn't show up, things take forever to load, etc.

Does anybody see the red glow in the upper left of the web cam screen? I don't remember a light there Peggy do you? The osprey on the nest doesn't seem too worried about it. I think it's mom. She just keeps looking around.

Interestingly, I just watched a light come on, which is on a pole just behind the nest area, a bit to the right. That's the light that I saw the other night after it got dark at the nest sight. They seem to have the area well lit this year. Chin

At 7:21pm I witnessed a mating!
Embarrassed I'm so embarrassed.
The camera went blurry. Now it back. Don't Know
Mom just flew off the nest. There are three ducks swimming from left atop the dam to the right. Pretty active evening. There is a warm front headed into the area. Will be in the 80*s tomorrow. Plenty of sun predicted.Cool

Hi Ayers Fans, wave

Welcome Home to Ayers Island, Gerard - I'se The Bye! Good to know that you have been, as you say, "lurking". Great to hear from you - hurry back please. Grin

Goodness sakes, Peggy, sure hope whatever is giving you a hard time with your computer or whatever is only a temporary issue. We WANT you here and we NEED you here. Yes! Nodding

Now then, Jude, mating/bonding, huh? Sounds like we are going to see eggs on the Ayers nest, for sure. love
