It's good to know that snow is the norm for this nest. I'm still amazed at how these birds adapt to such different climes.

Hi MystCat,
You mentioned that you were not used to seeing eagles incubate in the snow. Here is a link to last year's Deschutes nest, the 2008 - 2009 Season. Thought that you might be interested to look back and compare then with now. The link is also posted on the "First" page of this thread.
