thanks Doreen, as you'll see in your read later, BFF made out ok and I'm a wee bit less sore today. I woke up early and did some meds and back to sleep so by lunch I had sort of a handle on it. Hows your back doing? great scaps

awwwwww I loooove Loons my {{{{Tx}}}} that was great. Love the foot up part. See above for how I am. Yeah watching the bears in the water is cooling but I wish I was with them. (if they didn't eat me that is) Ohh I'm glad you said he's checking momma every night! Now I feel better about it, geeeez come on baby!! (ies)

Nice s'caps from the bear cam Lori.
There are a few different styles of catching fish, but it's the most fun to watch the ones who line up along the top of the falls and just grab them out of midair.
I think the young ones avoid the older bears at all costs. Prime fishing spots seem to be taken by the biggest bears.
Cool Rona ad. (Unfortunate about the false stereotyping of the bear though!)
Great that everything went well with BFF's procedure this morning & that you're having a less painful day.

I read a few articles on line about the Bluejays losing their head feathers. It sounds like it is
quite common and normally happens in the month of August.
Sorry, I forgot to post Rachel's artwork so here they are now.

Rach loves to paint so I got her a few small pieces of canvas at the Dollar Store and here's a
couple of her master pieces.

She sprinkled tiny crystal beads on this one, that's what the spots are.


She said this one is a "peacock birdie hiding in the bushes".
Some of it was done with her fingers.
