Good morning, everyone! It's looking to be a lovely day in Maine - a bit frosty this morning, according to my husband who just went out to get the newspaper, but sunny and likely up in the 50s (50F=10C) - a warm spring day in Maine.

And it's day 36 for the first egg at the Central Maine nest, so while I don't expect a hatch until tomorrow or Thursday - it could happen!

Another lovely day - projected high of 58, low of 32, mostly sunny - the best day of the week.

It's day 37 for the first egg, so a hatch is likely today or tomorrow - but hasn't happened yet!

Good morning - and good news!

We have a chick:




And here's a much better look at our new chick


Both adults are on the nest now - they were doing some calling and seem alert, so I think there may be something in the area.

And now I'm off to work - happy eagle watching!

Just knew she was cuddling a Baby this morning when recording from 6:24 to 6:38 am. Did not get even a peek though. Thank you so much for the happy pictures.
