Thank you Judy......I hope you had some luck in finding a place to rent. Did not know Vancouver was such a popular place to live but I guess it makes sense as it is gorgeous.

Howdy do! Hello

Carolyn, I'm so sorry to hear about Ralph. Cry It's always sad when we lose one of our pets. It IS like losing a family member. I hardly ever make it to the Rainbow Bridge thread...I always get too upset, so I stay away.

Judy, good luck finding affordable and acceptable housing to rent. It seems rent is outrageous in Vancouver, but I guess it's getting that way everywhere. I just went through that trying to find a place here in St. Louis in February. Then the moving! Oh My

Hi Nightowl.....I am sorry if I upset you. Ralph had a good long and fun life so it is joy not sadness I am reflecting. I loved the picture from this morning......that doggie would not like that leap.

Hugs,
carolyn

Oh Carolyn, YOU didn't upset me. hug I'm such a softie when it comes to animals, I hate the thought of any of them crossing over, although I know at some point they will.

I couldn't take biology in school cause they disected frogs. couldn't volunteer at the local animal clinic, and I have a boss that volunteers at World Bird Sanctuary here, and he suggested I volunteer there. If I could only see the good side of things, and not all the injuries and deaths, maybe I could. BUT I can't stand to see an animal in pain or injured in any way. (when I ran over a rabbit years ago, I cried every time I thought about it) I cry just reading a sad story about an animal, and to this day, I can't watch Bambi. Maybe I project my feelings onto them, or maybe it's cause they can't tell us when they hurt. Maybe it's cause they trust us so much to do what's right for them. Don't Know

It sounds like Ralph lived a long happy life. How lucky for him to have you in his life and vice versa. Nodding
