Thanks, CAL! And good morning. Looks like another sunny day is dawning. One of the adults is brooding, and it looks as if both of them are home in bed where they belong at this early hour.

Another feeding around 8:30. Both little ones are sticking close to home so far this morning. Both adults put in a brief appearance.
10:46 am
Another feeding
12:38 pm
The chicks are spending more time "indoors" today, and it's now looking cloudy, so I'm wondering if it's cooler than yesterday. The younger chick is one week old today and the other only a day older - so it is too soon for them to regulate their own temperature to any extent - meaning they can only be uncovered for extended periods when the weather is warm but not too warm.

My they have grown in the time I have been gone.....it is much colder today only 45. The worst part of the weather is that it was VERY windy this morning and it is a chilly wind. So Ma and Pa are most likely keeping them tucked in more.....what little adventurers.....sort of goes with the history of where they are....or maybe it is the high altitude.....
Off topic: My new granddaughter was born Wed. evening....Claire was 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches. She is very strong and makes many funny faces just like all little ones do....that family is now home and her 2 big brothers think she is pretty interesting....but don't like her to cry....all did well even me....she will have many hours of eagle watching in before she is 5. The boys love to see the eagles.

2:09~2:12 Pa is feeding both eaglets. They seem to take turns. I noticed that several time one would reach for the food.
2:18~2:23 Pa is standing at 9 while the eaglets are popping up and down. Just about think they are snoozing when up they pop.
3:21~3:40 eaglets are now a snoozing pile of fluff in front of Pa. He is settled just behind them.
It is not as windy now.
Look forward to the pics, Judy....was so great to go back and read about how they did.... all who reported. Look forward to more.

Stay where you are! Maybe a few bites.

Congratulations, Donna, on the birth of your Baby Granddaughter.
6:20 pm,
They are having a full meal. Parent feeding is at 9. Both 'lets are actually in the nest bowl. The evening sun on the nest is beautiful!
