Ketchikan, Alaska, 7-1-12. This is the first of seven ports on our Alaskan cruise. Have been to Ketchikan four other times, and it usually rains so today’s wet weather is no surprise. There are a couple of fish-processing plants on the west end of town, and eagles are attracted by dispensed fish waste. There are also several seaplane charter companies in the area as well as some boat traffic which provide nice background for eagle pictures.
