It has been a hot day at the nest. They had a few snacks during the day and the whole family was in the nest for a bigger meal at about 7:30. (This info taken from chat.)

Shadow and FEather are snuggled in near the tree trunk at about 10/11 position on the nest.

8:50 Both parents in nest and feeding begins. Shadow is up front and keeps outmanuevering Feather for the food. Feather tries the end around but that does not work so F tries to snatch from under Shadow. That does not work either. Mom keeps feeding Shadow.

Mom begins to feed after dad leaves the nest.

Quiet this afternoon. One let is out of site by one of the tree trunks. Later it comes in to view.

It rained late in the day on 6/16.

6:42 Dad delivers fish. Mom feeds Shadow and Feather. Small fish is gone very quickly.

Chatter says that they had rain that was needed. No other info. I watched for about 10 min and the e's were snoozers.

I did stop in at this nest this morning. Things were calm after some over night rain.
