Goodnight Raining - Ty for all your great s'caps. I know you're not well today, am sure everyone appreciates your efforts day in, day out!

Animals come into our lives, leave pawprints on our hearts and we are forever changed...

Hi everyone! :hello:
I'm sorry if I contributed to the confusion in any way. I'm also sorry that I think and type slowly, as some of this has already been addressed.
Right now, we need two things.
First, your good thoughts for the little one. It really does help.
Next, your observations. If we have more people watching and reporting on what they see, it will be much less likely that we'll miss something important. We don't have the resources to follow all the other forums, blogs, chats, social streams, Facebook pages or whatever - though we are thrilled to know that people around the world are watching the eaglets and sending good wishes. It costs nothing to register and post, and we don't sell your information to the highest bidder - so please, if you see something that may be important, post it here so our resource people will see it.
And there are three things I'm afraid we don't need.
One is negativity. Yes, this is a scary time. Personally, I think the eaglet is sometimes looking much better, and occasionally relapses to "only somewhat better" - but I've not seen anything to suggest that he/she is not generally better today than yesterday. I'm not suggesting that we all need to do the Little Miss/Mister Sunshine thing - but if you see something that worries you, please describe what you saw and please try to avoid interpreting it unless you are a health and/or raptor professional. I do know that's hard - but it really is a lot more helpful on a lot of levels if you can say "I'm worried because I just saw...." rather than something less specific and more dire-sounding. Many of you are doing that - and I thank you! And encourage others to join in. We'd love more observations and s'caps for the record, so if something like this happens on another nest, we can point them here to show it looked scary for a while but (fingers crossed) turned out OK.
The second is calls to David Hancock, Bev Day, Karen Bills or anyone else. They do know what's happening - and are following what's posted here - so please post your observations here so they have all the information in one place.
And the third is people going anywhere near the nest. It is not located in a public area, and much as we'd all like to help - you can help most by sending good thoughts and posting detailed observations for those who can legally do more if it ever becomes necessary.
Thank you all for the love you're sending to this eagle family. If wishing alone could make it so, the eaglet would be completely recovered by now! And I truly do believe he/she is on the road to recovery - and hope you'll join me in documenting his/her return to full health!

7:36 pm Parent came to nest, seemed out of breath, but no food. Babies screaming but for naught. Sigh. Parent left.

7:37 Parent on and off twice in the last few minutes. Both babies screeping for food. Hopefully parent will be back soon with food for 2 hungry babies. I have been here for about 15 minutes and Goldwing seems perkier tonight. A good meal would go a long way at this point in my opinion! Come on ma and pa!
I adopted the Delta2 nest!
