A Couple of Quiet Days Ahead The weather should be quiet and perfect for the next couple of days. What a wild weekend of flapping and branching...even during the storms. It looks like some of the wing flapping on the branch by the camera has created a couple of smudges on the camera cover. With a little luck those will wash away during the next rain later in the week.

Breezy and Cool
It is an absolutely crisp, cool day here today. The high temperature is going to be right around 70 degrees. It is windy which may actually increase the amount of hoping and flapping going on in the nest as the day goes along. We are getting close to our first fledging of the year!

About 12:15PM-- One of the 'lets is preening on the branch

At 1:15PM-- all I see is a back shot of a different eaglet on the branch.

The wind is creating feather "ruffles" and I see a bit of the face. I might be wrong, but I think that this one is Faith.

Rainy, rainy weather here and we have very wet lets.

At one time this afternoon there was 1 e down below the nest on a branch, one off to the rt on the "y" branch and one in the nest. They are going to keep us looking about to find them from now on.

It sounds like the eaglets were really on the move today!!
