Bet thanks for the scaps and observation. Nice to see them in the nest although it seems too late for eggs now...will still hope though. The PH adults were off the eggs for over an hour the other day...first time I saw that length of time off the eggs....I was quite worried; Dad was on duty...maybe he had the runs...not sure it was Mom that returned..not Dad.

Both were on the nest when I noted their presence. Mom was eating and Dad was wandering about the nest bowl

Dad flew off. Mom seemed to realize she was alone and started looking all around. Flew off after Dad within a minute of his departure.

There was a two minute visit by Mom (I think). She just stood in the nest and looked around.

BET,
Kinda looks like a Juvie perched on the front left branch in your 6:50 pm. Did not watch the nest today so I really appreciate your reports. Thank you.

Sat April 3
6:09 - 6:16pm
Dad was on the nest when Mom flew in. He was poking around in the nest bowl, could have been eating, but ? Guessing, by Mom's previous behavior, she was intent on sharing food if there was some. She poked her head down in the bowl, sort of shoving Dad, who just kept on poking around. Then he started moving a few sticks at the edge of the bowl as if he was trying to get them out of his way in his search for leftovers.

Neither one seemed to get any food items. Mom, after several minutes, flew up to the cross branch. She only stayed a few seconds, flew right back down

After she flew down, Dad flew up to the Y. There he perched for several minutes. Both eagles looked about, then Mom flew off, followed immediately by Dad
