The shell of 1 of the eggs is clearly more tan/light-brown than the other 2. Could this be down to diet at the time the shells are being formed?

Hello Mystery.... would you mind if I used one of your photos for a story in the Wildlife News? I'd like to let folks know about the 3 eggs again this year.

I live just a block away from the nest and enjoy visiting them daily.

Does anybody know if this pair is the pair that used to have a nest over on Kamloops St between Triumph & Pandora? There used to be a nest until the big winter storm of 2006 I believe it was. The tree the nest was on took a hit and lost a few branches. The eagles never came back after that. I know that pair used to often fly from their nest over to where this nest is which is why I think this is the same pair. In summer 2006 that nest on Kamloops also had 3 babies.

wave Hello littledevils!! Welcome to our forums! Please, keep posting what you see! the more eyes on a nest the better.

I'm not sure about the history of this nest or its eagles... Others may be able to answer your question.

It's interesting though that the pair you think these cold be also had 3 chicks in the past.

If there is anything you need help with, as you explore the forums just ask... someone will come to your rescue. Nodding
