7:56 Ma just dropped back to the nest but I didn't see arrival



She took off in a flash and the lets are not happy. Right let put left let into submission



...and back she comes as quickly as she left

I was about to post another close up of the chicks,



and express concern that they were still alone - when one of the adults arrived, and tried to tuck them in.



And as I was typing this, she apparently left again. And returned a minute later.

On that note, I'm out for the night.

Ma came in pretty clean but she is cleaning the bowl so not sure how long that will last

The babies are still too similar to tell apart. Still think they must be the same sex; wouldn't one be a lot bigger now otherwise? Am recording at the moment.
