10:20am
The storm eased a bit around 10:12am. Dad (Judy IDed) lifted his head. Looked at the water a bit then shook his head - body rolled the eggs. Around 10:16 he stood - shook the worst of the water off his wings, turned , rolled the eggs and settled back down. He is keeping his head up now

That is one wet eagle! Great picture, BET, but I do feel sorry for them in weather like this.
The Maine forum reported that there was a switch back to Mom at about 12:30, and said that Dad did the same jumping/hovering exercises to shake off the water before leaving.

Judy here are the images of the nest exchange at 12:28 - 29pm EDT
I had to do some things for my zoo and didn't have time to post them yet
12:28pm Mom arrives in midst of storm to take over

Dad relinquishes nest and flies off lower righ

Storm seems to be easing now - at least the quantities of rain

Monday April 30
Mom has been looking down in the nest bowl with a quizzical attitude several times today - It is day 35 - and I have to wonder if she is hearing peeping from the egg. I don't hear anything on my computer other than wind and waves.
