10:20am

The storm eased a bit around 10:12am. Dad (Judy IDed) lifted his head. Looked at the water a bit then shook his head - body rolled the eggs. Around 10:16 he stood - shook the worst of the water off his wings, turned , rolled the eggs and settled back down. He is keeping his head up now

That is one wet eagle! Great picture, BET, but I do feel sorry for them in weather like this.

The Maine forum reported that there was a switch back to Mom at about 12:30, and said that Dad did the same jumping/hovering exercises to shake off the water before leaving.

Dad was incubating. Called out and then stood up - giving his wings a big stretch

He turned to face the left back entrance - wings still elevated a bit - looks like a race car - zooom zooooom

Monday April 30

Mom has been looking down in the nest bowl with a quizzical attitude several times today - It is day 35 - and I have to wonder if she is hearing peeping from the egg. I don't hear anything on my computer other than wind and waves.
