AND THEY WERE THIS WEEK LIKE AS IF THEY NEW I WAS COMING , I FEEL VERY LUCKY . EASTCOAST , I FEEL JUST LIKE YOU DO WHEN IAM OUT IN NATURE . I SEEN THINGS BEFORE , BUT WITH THE CAMERA IT DOES OPEN A WHOLE NEW WORLD . HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE

This nest is located on the Fraser River between Maple Ridge and Mission, B.C. (Lougheed Highway/ #7)
There is a pull-off on the highway, for that I'm grateful as I didn't have to worry about getting my butt ran over.
I've found three nests along this stretch of Highway and this time I had my camera with me. Most exciting was to see someone home.
It was 8:15 am and I was pressed for time so Pa or Ma looks like a fly in these pics.
The green trees at the base of the nest tree are on the other side of the river. Train tracks below, then the river.

Sequim, Wash., 4-23-10. This is one our favorite spots on the Olympic Peninsula, and we often go there to visit friends and for hiking. Sequim is between the Strait of Juan De Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Victoria, B.C. on Vancouver Island is visible on a clear day. The following photos were taken near Dungeness Spit. Clickables
