Thank you, everyone, for your wonderful scaps and vids Left thumb up

After pouring over many, many, many pics from the last few seasons, I'm fairly confident in declaring we have a new male and female this morning. Though the male does resemble Oscar'08-10, his head features are not as full, and further he is not Oscar'11 and from earlier this season. We are also looking at a new female.

Herringman1: Thanks for your reports. But, with all due respect, I doubt very much the osprey you see near the tug base are not from this nest. The nest is a distance from the harbour and with the many lakes surrounding it, there would be no reason for them to fly that distance to hunt. There are a couple of nests on the Dartmouth port side, plus McNabs and Lawlor islands have a very large concentration of osprey nests ... perhaps what you're seeing are osprey from those areas Wink
