Mom has tucked herself in for the night;
thought it was raining for aminute there but nope not yet.

back at you Debs......It is oustanding to see the eagle parenting here as well as the adorable chicks.

Daily Summary - Thursday - April 26, 2012

Another nice day for this family ~~Dad made sure the pantry was full and the family enjoyed lots of fresh fish again today.

It was a cloudy day with a daytime high (1 pm) of 69 Fwith a wind from the SSE at 5 mph.

Currently we can hear thunder roll cloudy skies (9 pm) ~ feels like 63 F; wind is from the W at 14 mph with gusts up to 22 mph; Tstorm with .57 inches of rain is expected tonight.

Number of Feedings: 5
Number of Meals delivered: 5

The chicks had good in and output again today. The chicks are starting to show interest in self feeding; looking for scrapes at times and picking up food that is dropped and eating it.

At dusk we could hear thunder in the area; Mom returned to the nest and appears to be spending the night in the nest with the kids.

Mom remains tucked in; can hear
gusty winds on the mice and thunder rolls at times
no rain yet.

Heard noise abit ago sounds like Dad is perched nearby
perhaps in the attic or near the mic.

Now I have to leave ...will leave the cam up bbl ...if you are watching leave an obs if you can

The wind has picked up and we heard a bit of rain
or possibly hail a few minutes ago; Mom is awake
looking around.

Mom has moved over to the 10 oclock area and she is
brooding in that spot now; she has tucked herself back
in again and appears to be sleeping again.

Strong windy gusts at times.

I went back to work today and went to hospital after work. Bill was alert and showing signs of his calky personality which made me happy. He ate today. They have been feeding him through a tube until they were sure he could safely process food. The nurses felt he was ready so gave him applesauce twice and let my sister-in-law give him some of her frozen yoghurt which he really enjoyed. We expect he will be allowed soft foods tomorrow. He starts physio tomorrow too so we are quite happy with the progress he is making! I a tired but a happy tired tonight!

Thanks Debs for the nightly summary, too tired to go back. It is nice to see mom on the nest tonight.
It's quite windy tonight unless that is thunder I hear occasionally!

up closer to 11 now and is tucked in snug as a bug.
