8:09 Dad has had a long turn on the nest. Mom came in but without food. Mom and lets are ready to settle for the night. The lets have very full crops from the fish dad brought in earlier. Good night to these Minn. eagles.

Nice s'caps from today, Donna! Isn't it funny how so many of the Dads make sure that everybody gets fed more so than Mom?

These are from yesterday but now that the company is gone and hubby is in bed, I'm going to post them anyway.

7:35 Mom is brooding the chicks. There is fresh fish at 10. There have been 2 fish deliveries this morning. The lets were fed earlier.
Dad is on the branch off of 10. Mom is up rousts her feathers and leaves the nest. Then dad flies off the branch. The parents are having a discussion off nest.

At 7:47 Dad comes in and then moves up to the attic. Parents are still vocalizing.

7:50 Dad moves into the nest and goes to the food. He begins to feed the chicks.

7:57 Mom lands above and cheeps and chirps.

7:59 She moves into the nest and vocalizes and eats.

8:00 Dad stands off and mom begins to feed the eaglets.

8:04 Mom ends the feeding and begins to brood the chicks. They are still young and it is not 40 degrees yet this morning.
