Thank you Elle and Ian for fabulous photos and videos. Since you and Mindy have a relationship with the farmer where the new nest is located, is it possible to use your charms to convince him to allow a camera next season,please!!!
I so miss seeing Ma and Pa and being an observer of their lives and I know I'm only one of hundreds who feel a kinship with our Sidney eagles.
I'm sure we could convince everyone who watches this site not to go onto the farmers' property and respect his privacy if we could have a camera - or TWO!

Ma and Pa Sidney definitely have a chick or two.( hopefully not 3 again). Ma was sitting at the side of the nest today when we arrived for a visit and we saw her feeding before we left for home. I have many pictures and videos to sort through from today's visit at Pat Bay Beach. Be back with those asap.

Yay!!! So happy for Ma and Pa, I too hope they only have 2 this year, but if there's 3 chicks..they'll do fine I'm sure

I suppose I am taking a bit of licence by posting this video of a juvie at Pat Bay on this thread but I think it is more appropriate here than anywhere else as this youngster is likely one of Ma and Pa's offspring from 2011. You can guess which one. He or she is doing well. A beautiful flyer as you are about to see. It flew into a tree and Pa did spot it later and chased it away. Another sign that Ma and Pa have a family in the nest and they don't want any intruders.

Here is Pa also on a rock close to shore. He looked like he was deep in thought. He stayed there for about 10 minutes and gazed at me straight in the eyes several times. He is truly awesome
