Hello ELFs

Thank you for the anniversay wishes, Bev - lovely rhodo!
Annie, I have been keeping an eye on WR - Ma or Pa just showed the eggs and turned them - no peeper yet but I think h/she hears some thing because h/she is rather restless!
Arlene, what a lovely painting of the school house on the prairie! When I first came to Canada I attended one of those for the first 2 years before going into high school. It was an excellent way of learning to speak English without having to go into a class where all subjects were taught at grade level. We had one teacher and she taught us basic English and math at the grade 6 level.
Lana, hope you have a great time painting in Victoria! There are lots of very picturesque places around here.
Hope you all have a great day!

Oh Thank You!
I will be sure to show my hubby the pictures. He will love them. This is a significant birthday so that is special.
We are having a door installed to replace patio door from living room to deck that we never use, but was rotten. I love the new door with blinds in the door itself! What fun!
Jo, I saw Annie's note and hope Winston is OK. We watch over our furry friends.
smiles, all, beautiful day here today, low temps, low humidity,

Thanks everyone for having a look at my school house!!
Carolyn that painting is gorgeous of the cranes. What a treasure to have!! And wish your Hubby a very Happy Birthday!! Big plans for a dinner out??
I love those doors with the blinds in. We are planning a back door with that to be installed some time this summer.
Bev I love that photo of the lighthouse too. I do a tiny Peggys Cove lighthouse by my signature in all my paintings. I understand it is in rough shape. Have you heard if there are plans to renovate it??
Karen that is so neat to hear that you went to a one room school. We did have them a couple of miles from our town in all directions and lots of kids went there but I didn't get the chance. I think it would have been super fun. Our town had a 3 room brick school that has since been torn down.
Hi Annie, Gabi, Jean, Christian, and everyone else I have missed!!!
Jo and Miss W....hope all goes well!!

Good Evening ELFs

Blooms were discovered on our walk - the middle is a picture of trees called Garry Oaks which grow in a very rocky park in Esquimalt - beautiful in their own ugly way :!:
Arlene, those are beautiful glasses - I love dragonflies and butterflies!
Have a great evening all!.

Good Night ELFs.....
Arlene, we went to a Texas tradition barbeque restaurant for dinner, hubby's choice, and my daughter and son-in-law's treat. It was great fun - picnic tables, food on foil on the table, kids eating pudding in a decorative manner to their faces. It's just a great place to go.
The door looks great - still needs painting, but love the inside blinds. They operate with magnets, which is cool. After they were done had a bunch of serious cleaning to do to get the dust up (serious cleaning is more rigorous than non-serious cleaning ).
Karen, love your wildflower pictures. Wildflowers are really my favorite as they are always a surprise. Thank you!
Jo, how is Winston?
Annie, I hope you are having a great day. Miss L is doing much better - actually one surprising thing .......her speech always was good, but now it is incredible. I guess she is hearing better so she can now speak better. She talks non-stop. I love that this happened so she can feel better. Mr. E wanted to come home with us, but he has school tomorrow so no (plus we had no car seat in that car).
Have a good night friends......
