I am sorry to hear the sad news, of course not unexpected but still very sad for HWF and for all of us. I also express my condolences to Richard's family.

I am so sorry that Richard has been taken from us and his family much too soon. He will be greatly missed, my condolences to his family and to all of you who enjoyed and treasured his friendship and wonderful spirit. I will see him in every eagle that fledges this year, soaring high and free.

Friday 13, April I have been with my youngest brother and his family at the zoo in Munich. There we have seen a raptor flight show. I saw the falcon you can see on my picture and suddenly my thoughts went to our eagle forum and to Richard Pitt.
Dear family of Richard Pitt.
What a great and outstanding PERSONALITY he has been that one person in another kontinent was thinking of him.

MY DIPEST SYMPATHY

I'm so sorry we lost Richard Pitt--and so fast.

He was so devoted and dedicated to Hancock Wildlife and the eagles--
and to the computers and routers and cams and the forum.
Whether we knew him in person or not, Richard was a terrific man.
He will be greatly appreciated and remembered forever. sad
