Karen, I want some of that scrumptuos Apple Cake! Is it like
Apple Crumb cake? It's a favorite of mine. Lovely photos of Mt. Baker. Pretty,
pretty picture of the moon through the pines. I love it!

Aw, Miss Bleu just as pretty before as after! Now there's that apricot
Hibiscus I love so much. Today the tree trimmers were here and took out a huge Oleander
that was dead (termites got it!Oh My). Now, I have a large space to fill and I think instead of
replacing the Oleander, I'll plant new flower bushes there. Your roses are beautiful. You
obviously have a green thumb GF.

I just heard on the news we have bats around town that have rabies. Egad!

I'm out for the night........have a lovely evening and night ELFS.

Happy Wednesday Dear ELFS!

Good Morning Karen! Thanks for the info on the very pretty daisy. I'm lovin the
fluffy eagle tushy. Your Magnolia (another favorite) collage is gorgeous.
I'm not sure if my kitties' vaccinations included rabies or not. One of them is never out
and NW(NitWitty) is only out for about an hour in the morning and another hour at night.
He just prefers to potty outsidehappy so I let him do that his way.

Carolyn, I'm praying all goes perfect for Miss L.hug today. Waiting to hear from you.

See all later.

Annie......Tomorrow is Miss L's surgery. I will have Mr. E overnight so they can get her to the surgery center very early. I'll drive him to preschool.

Right now roofers are putting new vents on roof to keep the squirrels from chewing the vents. These should do the trick as they cannot chew them.

Have a beautiful day everyone! Oh Annie, my cats get rabies shots even though indoors as it is state law here. Only Ralph does not as he got rabies injection site sarcoma (cancer). I discovered it immediately, surgery was done immediately and he survived. Apparently it is 99% fatal so he used one of his nine lives on that one. So far he has used about 5 of them.

see you later gators,
carolyn

Hello Carolyn & Karen,

We had a tremendous thunderstorm.......lightning, wind and rain coming down in sheets. Several
neighbors' garbage cans were pushed down the street by the rushing water...wind had blown
them over. Thankfully ours just sat there, lol.

My days have been off every since we returned Carolyn. I knew Miss L.'s surgery was on
Thursday, not today. I have to keep reminding myself what day it is, lol.
We had to put up new roof vents and discovered the last time we had a new roof, a couple of them
weren't' even covered! Unbelievable!!
Wow that Ralph is a real survivor!

Karen, The Azelia (?) is absolutely beautiful. It looks like it has seed pearls on it.
I like seagulls even if they're so common. That does look like a starfish BUT it seems
too big and has too many "arms"Don't Know.

Have a Good Night......see you tomorrow.

Hi ELFs......

Karen, the flower for Miss L is beautiful (Rhododendrum, correct?) I love it. We had dinner with Cat and the kids her treat! It was a blast. Then came back with Mr. E and I played with him, gave him a bath and we read all the best books ever such as Green Eggs and Ham and Go Dog Go. At this age he reads right along with me and we are loud.

Just got him to sleep with lots of stuffed animals surrounding him. So cute......

Annie, that storm sounds horrific. Our roof looks surreal now with very strong vents on to keep the pesky squirrels from chewing.

Karen and Annie.....isn't that an octopus? It looks to big for a starfish - or am I way off on this?

I am sure Miss L will be just fine and thank you for caring......
I'll post tomorrow.
sweet dreams,
carolyn
