PL,

Isn't that "mysterious white object" part of an egg shell? In your video (wonderful video) I could see what looked like a crack in the egg. It sure looked like Mom and Dad could her their Little Peep already. :dunno:

Think that was my 1st ever Charlotte pic. Oh My I'll ask her to stay off the cam when I'm looking from now on. Titter

Cal I was on the Tulsa Chat when we saw the mysterious white object, but the next time the eggs were unattended, they looked intact! My guess was maybe a stray feather? Time will tell. Sutton window of March 26th or a couple days earlier is really close!

This is a scap from this next time the eggs were left, nearly 5 minutes yesterday:

LOL, "1st Charlotte pic" ~ I've seen wasps, spiders and ants on these cams, and it always creeps me out! LOL!! I prefer the furry, feathered or fuzzy cute animals!

wave PandaLover,

Thanks for the clarity on the white object. I watched the sunrise at Sooner this morning. Beautiful. Mom had her nose buried in her feathers away from the wind most of the time (don't blame her) so I didn't get a peek at the eggs.

I'm not much for creepy-crawlie critters either. Oh My

Cal, she did have her head tucked in for a long time this morning. Hadn't seen that behavior in a very long time!

Nest exchange... love the way the camera makes her look HUGE next to him!

We got a tour with the wide cam this morning.

Down and to the left is the pond (you can see the water in the upper left hand corner of the nest cam). You can barely see the whitish trunk of the cottonwood.

Down and to the right a bit is the grove of trees that includes the dead cottonwood sigh sign

The next two are to the right of the tree grove, and to the right of that. Think Oklahoma prairie lands. Welcome

Thanks for posting the pictures of the tour, PandaLover! I do like having an idea what the area is like around a nest. Grin

Thanks Judy wave I was curious too!

Nest Exchange at 12:49 PM was followed by the nest cam going straight out to the left and following the thick branch that we see normally in the upper left hand corner below "Nest2Cam1". Oh the places we've been today Whistling

My theory is that when Mom left the nest, she went straight up and knocked the camera. Hmmm, either that or Sutton has controls on that cam? Again, time will tell!

Again, nothing but Oklahoma pairie lands Wink
