I'm thinking I updated Firefox recently, and needed to update the plug-ins for flash and maybe java. Not sure if that's relevant.

Just got off the phone with Ken.

He is checking into the White Rock and DeltaOWL cams to see what needs tweaking to stop the sputtering/freezing feed.

He can do nothing about Delta2 feed until Delta Cable does the cable upgrade which now won't be before Tuesday or Wednesday.

He is checking with Mike to get the pan areas reset at Lafarge. (apologies to Terry that it hadn't already been done).

He doesn't know why some people are having no problem watching our cameras, while some can't see them at all. He is looking into that ASAP.

I just got word from Skipper that the newest Adobe Flashplayer is NOT compatible with our cameras

Please do not download version 11.2.202.228.

Older versions are still available at http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Thank you. Thank you, Judy, for posting the answer to this problem. I have uninstalled that version of Adobe Flash and reinstalled my previous version and the cams are running great now. No freezing and they come on right away, etc. I will email those who have contacted me about this problem but somehow we need to make our techs and our members aware of this incompatibility before we lose more viewers. Please thank Skipper for us.

Richmond cam has been down all day...Consultants arrived late this morning, Eastern Time... to fix the original cam... and needed to close the backup cam...It is 12.38 and the cam is still off air... Hopefully the cam will be back up tomorrow...

Since Tuesday, April 3, the backup cam has been in operation.

Thanks Annie. I will call Ken right now.

Edited to add:

Ken just now pulled up into his driveway and will check the WR cameras immediately.
