Mom began calling, and appeared very agitated at one point, then suddenly got up and flew off.


7:57 a.m.
Eggs are alone


7:59 a.m.
Mom arrives again.

8:01 a.m.
Incubating but watching the area outside the nest.

8:14 a.m.
Mom is not looking very relaxed. She has been breathing heavy and looking every direction since she arrived at the nest.

8:37 a.m.
Switch.


Dad settles on the eggs and of course moves grass around while he's there. Always the maintenance man !

10:32 Presently very quiet on the nest. Just wanted to have a quick look before heading out for awhile. Nice to see no rain or rocking at the nest today.

Mamma is all tucked in and sleeping. Three egg rolls in about twenty minutes.
