Barb...oh... I am so glad that Mike hurried home to help out. Pete traveled so much and I have had many of those times....only he could not just come home. Enjoy this longer time together and hope all gets to working right.

Barb, I'm so sorry you're having so many "house" issues. Glad Mike came home early. I can understand your frustration. I get so mad because it seems I can't do some of the simplist "guy" jobs. The cat a while back went behind the dryer and the dryer vent got dislodged. No big deal, but I can't move the dryer & washer myself especially since there's an old piece of carpet underneath. If I was by myself, I probably would have had to pay someone.

Also, glad you got your new A/C. I has been like June down here - HOT!

Bev, beautiful Peggy's Cove - I hope to see it in person someday. Glad you're enjoying your shopping. My mom and I shop too, but mostly at thrift shops. Always find something we don't need. Faith is fine - I think she's relieved the pressure is off now that she's no longer "Ms. March". A black lab, Suzi, is Ms. April.

I have to tell you all. I'm driving to Savannah next Thurs. and, if all goes well, guess who(m) I'm going to meet - BARBARA We have to work out the details. My cousin, Kathy, from Chgo, has a conference there earlier in the week so we'll meet up and tour Savannah a bit. Then we'll both drive back down here and Kathy will spend a week visiting.
