I no clue what a troll was either...we sure got orientated to many things in 2006 best part was Sid and Vic they really stole the show and what fine teachers Ma and Pa Hornby and Sidney were....yep was a heck of a ride and you know the rest of the story

John It was great fun hey...remember all the fun we had...and so many changes on the forum those first couple of years too. We were delighted when you got the courage to finally speak up and not to worry most of us were new to chatting it up on a forum too. Big and Lil they claimed our hearts from the very start and Ma and Pa did too

JudyH Wow what a fab meal .... Seared Ahi Tuna with ginger, garlic and cloves...on a bed of spinach, asparagus, sliced cucumbers, red peppers and mushrooms with wasabi sauce (to die for... it hurts so good) (Wasabi, in case you don't know... is a type of horseradish used with Sushi dishes)...wowsers and as J says heart shaped tuna too boot. Thank you so much . Its a meal I will definitely have to try sometime yep yep yep. Eta just saw your beautiful bear hug with a woof for Judy...she will wuv it yep yep yep

Hi Nesters,

Sorry I have been so absentee! We have had one of those times we have all experienced. Everything with a motor breaks down at the same time! Thus far, the computers, (at least not duplicating emails in the in and out boxes now), cell phone had replacement until I have time to replace the old one, AC all tuned up and ready to go! The computers taking up only a few little weeks of time.

SJ (Judy) and Steve, candles going and lots of hugs and prayers headed your way, my friend. Thanks Debs for all the updates.

Nice memories we have of our first look at the Nests. Hornby and then Lil and Big, and we were hooked forever made life long friends as well.

Bev, we have our hummer feeders on the balconies. Can’t wait for them to show up!

Diana, great you had a birthday party! I can’t imagine how you work so much and take the time to make the most beautiful of collages.

ED, you are so nice for sending the the coffee a few mornings! You are so busy, too! Tis that time of year. Outdoor weather here with temps in the 80’s.

I'm finally making time to read the last few pages of posts So many things happening the past few days I'll do catchup in the next post

I had a wonderful time at WildARC on Sat. My sister had never been before and was so impressed with everything that is done there to help the animals. Nicholas Read, the fellow who wrote the book that my deer picture is in was there and I was pleased to meet him. I will have a complimentary book coming to me and I purchased 2 more for my grandchildren; my sister aslo purchased one for her grandchildren. It is a wonderful book titled "City Critters - Wildlife in the Urban Jungle".

Beaker, the wee Burrowing Owl was there again with his owner Mike, and Jeff who does wildlife rescues was also there with his Peregrine Falcon Chance and Harris Hawk Easy. Here are some pics of the birds.

Bev yes, your grandsons certainly are adorable I uploaded a video of Phoebe and her chicks this morning. I was getting a bit worried because Phoebe seemed to be gone from the nest for so long Love your pics of the polar bears, flowers and the stuffed animal I haven't posted any s'caps of the condor chick for a few days and will do that later today.

Marg your heather is so gorgeous Glad to hear you had a good time with the HWF group on Sat. Looks like you had lunch at Sharkey's. I would have loved to rummage through those drawers with all the old hats I read David's account of his and Mary's first 5 days in Costa Rica; what a nightmare for them

John hope you are keeping well and getting in lots of walks. Thanks for sending Roadie out with Tims and goodies. I'm enjoying my 2nd cuppa while I'm typing this. I'll be doing a lot of walking around the deck on the cruise ship to burn off extra calories from all the delicious food I'll be eating It is getting windy here and we are in for a few more days of yukky weather

Jude sorry to hear you have been having so many problems lately; hopefully all the bugs will be worked out with your computer soon

JudyH I love the dog pics you posted Our cruise if 26 days, from Fort Lauderdale to Montreal; 11 days in the Southern Caribbean, back to Fort Lauderdale, 3 stops up the east coast of US, 3 stops in the Maritimes, then several stops down the St. Lawrence to Montreal. We are going to be exhausted when we get home

Sorry if I missed anyone's comments; not enough time in the day to do all the things I would like to do. I don't know how I had time to go to work I must go now and get on with my chores; have to go to the shopping centre in awhile.

Bev...Yes, I do find working in the garden so relaxing. Would love to see some more of your garden pics. I just had this greenhouse built about 2 years ago… it was a lifelong dream… I love it too.. 24 inch screen new computer… you lucky bird…. Nice!!! AS you know... I am getting a new desk top computer also... but have to wait until I return from my vacation before I can use it I am going to visit with my family in my home town of Norwark, Ohio.... I have a pair of Morning Doves who are nesting on my back patio on an arbor... Last year they had 5 clutches. Here is a picture of the first clutch this year. The chicks are about 5-6 days old. They actually fledge about 14-15 days old... My German Shepherd, Heleena loves them... LOL



A Coopers Hawk flew on my patio after one of the parent's during an exchange... Thank goodness it was unsuccessful. I sent Heleena outside to hopefully deter the hawk from coming back.

My cousins and friends took us out for dinner Saturday night for my birthday, we had a great time. Food was good, drinks were great...celebrating my special day with my family was priceless
